Leaves make a great addition to the naturalistic vivarium with their unique shape and many edges that provide food for isopods and springtails. They are a hardwood leaf meaning they take a while to breakdown. Once they actively breakdown, micronutrients will be released to the live plants. They also can provide hiding places for smaller vivarium inhabitants like dart frogs.
