Calcium is ideal for egg-laying females and growing reptiles. PangeaCal Calcium without D3 does not contain Vitamin D3, a supplement normally synthesized by reptiles and insects from UVB exposure. This vitamin is essential to reptiles’ ability to metabolize calcium. PangeaCal Calcium without D3 is designed for animals exposed to natural light or UVB.
Pangea Reptile also has PangeaCal with D3 for animals who are not exposed to natural light.
Directions
- Place insects into a plastic bag or cup
- Add enough calcium to lightly coat the insects
- Shake the bag or cup until items are evenly coated with the powder
- Feed to your reptiles immediately
